ill titleElkhart, Indiana (Part II)

Elkhart, Indiana "Part II: Elkhart History, is in production.

Again, in this series, you will be caught up in conversations and pictures of Elkhart the way it used to be.

This documentary is the second in a series of the History of Elkhart, and is currently in production. The release date has not yet been determined, but will follow the release of the documentary Our Italian Neighborhood.

The documentary content has not been finalized, however, it will include architecture, history and visits to several cemeteries located in the city and county. Grave sites will be visited of well-known (or interesting) people who helped shape Elkhart into what it is today as well as stories of their lives. A special visit inside of the Beardsley mausoleum in Grace Lawn cemetery will also be included.

Just as in Part I, "Elkhart Then & Now" will present an old picture (usually early 1900's) followed by a present-day picture taken from the same vantage point. Watch as the old picture fades into the new one. Paul Thomas provides narration about the picture and sometimes is interviewed at the site itself.

(This DVD is the second part of a series about the history of Elkhart and Elkhart County, Indiana. Please keep watching this page for content and release information)
