Former residents of Elkhart, Indiana's Italian-American neighborhood in the Harrison Street area recall stories and experiences of growing up in families of Italian immigrants. Sometimes referred to as Elkhart's "Little Italy", you will almost feel Italian yourself (if you aren't already) just listening to the warm memories of these special people in this special place.

We believe that preserving oral history (with video) is one of the most important ways we can teach others. Most of what we learn in life is through example.
